Keynote: Beyond “We should do something about that”: Actually Doing Something by Noah Geisel
Identifying a problem is a great start. Inspiring yourself and others to care is good too. Taking action to solve the problem is often a missing link and one reason why I embrace the 30 Goals Challenge. We're not here to get ready, we're here to get started!
Bio Noah Geisel has been teaching Spanish, English and Technology for 13 years. An addict of sharing and collaborating with other teachers, he is a constant on Twitter (@SenorG) and was a contributing writer to the education blog TeachPaperless.com. Co-founder of the weekly twitter chat #BadgeChatK12, he is excited to be working with Aurora Public Schools on a Digital Badge system that recognizes students’ assets and unlocks opportunities. As a member of the Clinton Global Initiative Meeting, he is working hard to change the world through his Commitment to Action Plan, Recognizing Assets & Opening Opportunities. Noah represented ACTFL as the 2013 National Language Teacher of the Year. He is a traveler, learner and hardcore fan of Duke Basketball.
